I am involved in all kinds and sizes of weddings, but have often commented that the smaller ones are nicer in so many ways. Especially the way the economy is these days, people are cutting back in many areas, including the size of their weddings. It is not necessary a bad thing, and in fact there are many benefits. In this article, I will suggest what some of those are.

One, you will have more choices for the site of your wedding. If you were having a large wedding with many guests, you would find that are some places that simply are not large enough to accommodate that many people. With fewer people, you can consider smaller wedding venues.

Two, you can spend more money on a few things that mean the most to you. If you have to feed two hundred people, the menu might not be as good as if you are only feeding fifty. You could choose the salmon or steak entrée instead of the chicken. Or maybe you want to go out on the dress, the flowers, or gifts for your guests. We talk a lot about different things as they pertain to a wedding. The one thing we've yet to do is have a wedding checklist, which everyone can look at and use as a guide to helping them make sure they don't forget anything. Fergie Josh Duhamel Renew Wedding Vows | eCanadaNow

Transformers star Josh Duhamel renewed his wedding vows last week with wife Fergie and they have decided to do it again each year. Supermodel Heidi Klum and husband Seal also renew their vows each year and this is where Josh admits he got the idea from.

It has been reported to be a rough first year of marriage for Fergie and Josh, including rumors of his infidelity. The Honeymoon is a substantial part of the wedding budget and the one that you will probably get the most enjoyment out of. For us the most expensive things were the reception and the honeymoon and the only regret I have about that is spending so much time taking pictures that we didn't get to enjoy the reception more. But to get a week in Hawaii or other wonderful destination for well below what it would cost otherwise it can be worth it.
